Deft Brewing proudly brews and serves deftly-crafted, high-quality, European-inspired craft beers in a unique and fun tasting room environment that is dog-friendly, family-friendly, food-friendly, and overall friendly.  

Deft is easy to get to and centrally located near Bay Park, USD, Old Town, and the Point Loma neighborhoods of coastal San Diego.

Pizza Cassette, our full-time food partner, is serving up their delicious wood-fired artisanal pizzas every Wed-Thur starting 3pm and Fri-Sun at 12pm. Their menu includes many unique thin-crust wood-fired red pizzas & white pizzas, one or more salad options, occasional sandwich specials and appetizers, and more coming soon. Please note that outside food is no longer allowed here when Pizza Cassette is serving here Wednesdays thru Sundays. On Mondays & Tuesdays when they are not serving, our customers are welcome to bring in outside food such as take-out, food delivery, or packing your own picnic. That said, the Pizza Cassette pizzas are truly amazing and worth the visit.

Our friends & neighbors next door, Lost Cause Meadery, have delicious award-winning meads and ciders to sip and enjoy, especially for those of your group who may not be beer-lovers or seeking gluten-free drinks.

There is plenty of street parking near Deft, including the dirt lot at the end of Banks Street or on Sherman Street.
